Taunton trail tun - 10K & half marathon distances.
Join us for an awesome run setting off from the Taunton rugby club which quickly joins the beautiful canal taking you into towards Taunton... Then around a short section of the river Tone before you link back onto canal.
The 10K Route is roughly 50% canal paths and 50% river paths which are both very flat and has easy to navigiate terrain making this a great run for your first 10K, new to trail running or want to put in a PB time.
The Half marathon distance route is similar to above but will include and extra 5K out and back along the canal heading towards Bridgewater. With roughly 70% canal paths and 30% river paths the course is very flat coupled with easy to navigate terrain it makes it at great first time half marathon distance, getting used to trail…
