Taunton Trail 10K NIGHT Run - 24th March 2023

Taunton Trail 10K NIGHT Run!

Join us for our first NIGHT run setting off from the Taunton rugby club which quickly joins the beautiful canal taking you into towards Taunton... Then around a short section of the river Tone before you link back onto canal. 

The 10K route is roughly 50% canal paths and 50% river paths which are both very flat and has easy to navigiate terrain making this a great run for your first night 10K, if you are new to trail running or want to put in a PB time. 

This will be our first night run, with others launching later in 2023 but with a slightly different elevation profile to this one... That said although we like to have challenging events in beautiful area's... we also want to make our events inclusive for everyone to enjoy. If you are new to trail running at night this is a fantastic chance to build your confidence before perhaps heading for some more technical trails. Our events bring in an epicly diverse group of runners all joining together and thats what makes our events so awesome.

Important timing information:

- Parking opens @ 6:15PM

- Registration  @ 6:15PM - 7:15PM

- Event brief @ 7:25PM

- Run Starts @ 7:30PM

What you can expect at our events -

What you need to bring - 

• Trail running shoes
• Running clothes - suitable for the weather
• Fully charged mobile with race director's number stored
• Event route saved to device
• 500ml water bottle/speed cup/hydration system.
• Waterproof jacket / trousers if needed
• Head torch/chest torch with a minimum of 250 lumens. No lights, no running.

We always welcome volunteers at our events so if you fancy joining the team for the day or even a few hours at registration or with parking, please get in touch.
