Blackdown Hills trail run - 10K & half marathon distances! 

We are super excited to be holding this event for the second time with a new and update route, taking in even more fantastic forest trails!  2022 was a sell out,  with brilliant feedback so thankyou all for your support! Setting off from Taunton racecourse where you will head up onto the hills, discovering tucked away trails, quiet country roads and unrivalled scenery through the Blackdown hills area of outstanding beauty.   Enjoy technical forest trails, challenging climbs  (Upto the Heightest point in the Blackdowns if you take on the half marathon) with absolutely  awesome views!! The course will be way marked clearly, brilliant marshals throughout, professional medical team and superb feed stations ensuring you have a fantastic, safe and enjoyable run!'

Both the 10K and the half marathon route will have feed stations along the way to help fuel your journey to the finish line... Where you will be rewarded with an epic wooden medal & other goodies!

Age Restrictions: 

- Half Marathon: Entrants must be 19 years of age or older to participate

- 10k: Entrants must be 16 years of age or older to participate

Important timing information:

- Parking opens @ 7:00AM

- Registration  @ 7:15AM - 8:45AM

- Event brief @ 8:50AM 

- Events Starts @ 9:00AM

- Event cut off time @ 1.30PM 

Feed stations -

We know how important it is take to take on good quality food throughout a challenging run and therefore aim to provide you with some great fueling options to keep you on your A game throughout the run. Expect to see energy drinks, electrolytes, water, carbs in many many forms and some good encouragement from our team!
